Ads and AdSense What is Copywriting? So you joined AdSense. Everyone is telling you how much money they make. They tell you "You Need This E-Book," "Buy This," "Buy That." They whomever they are because I've never met any of them try to get you to buy their product. They never came over to me or sent me an e-mail. They never sent me any money no matter how much they have promised you're going to make. Are you buying your new car with money you have received from "THEM." I think not. I know I'm not going to be buying a car with the money they sent me. I do know this. It is up to me to make the difference. Not you, although you can encourage. Not the person down the street. Not even the "Buy This" people. If I want you to read my material what do I do. I can pay you. Sure like I have enough money to pay you. I can promise you something like "FREE". If I had it I'm sure not going to give it away for free. I'm going to get something. Even if it is a thank you or "Hi, how you doing." Not even the air we breath is free. Ok, what do I need to do? Back when I worked a job, I worked in the TV and Radio business making commercials. What do these business do. They sell ads. That's correct, ads. What is an ad. "Advertising is a form of communication." according to Wikpedia. I guess they should know they are the experts. What is the form of communication you need to make your AdSense make money for you. Take a guesses and the first three guess will be wrong. The communication you need to understand is "copywriting." That's right, copywriting. "Copywriting uses words to promote a person, business, opinion, or idea." Again Wikipedia. What are you promoting, I did not say selling. You are promoting yourself. Even if your trying to sell a product, you are promoting you. The product is what you excha'vnge for money. If people don't like you they're not going to buy your product even if it is the lowest price point. I walked off car lots because of the salesman not the product. I just went down the road. found someone I liked and bought the product from that salesman. If you don't like people get out of promoting. If you don't like yourself get out of promoting. You've got to like you. You don't even have to like the product your are selling. Have you ever noticed that car sales people drive a different made car then the one they are selling. Learn copywriting if you want your AdSense or any business for that matter to develop, grow and produce the income you need. I did not say desire. Desire is another story at a different time. Work on learning copywriting. Look for:
