Crane a Symbol of Longevity
Crane a Symbol of Longevity During our travels in China we happen to see two beautiful jade cranes statutes almost mirroring one another. These two separate jade pieces stood almost 24 inches tall. They were almost a mirror image but they had slight differences. We just had to have these symbols of longevity. The reason why these symbols are so important to us is because we have set a thought program to live to be 144 plus years. Most people think life ends at 40. Our lives have just begun. At mid 60's we haven't even reached middle age. Why live to 144 plus years? All your immediate family could be dead. All your friends could be dead. And the world what will it be like. We have grandchildren and I sure they will have grandchildren. We make new friends every day. We already have lost more than 60% of our high school graduating class and about 20% plus of our college class. People are dying every day. At least 5% of the people reading this article will not be hear next year. Thats 953.85 people reading this will have crossed over. Surprised. So little time. I believe you should make every moment count. Help where you can. Encourage. Be patience. Last year a sister-in-law gone. This year my father gone (95 years). Already 3 artist we know gone. And even though we have only meet through authorship we will loss the pleasure of your face. Gone. Yes where have all the flowers gone. Gone every one. Live long. Happy Health and Happiness. May the Crane be with you.
