Daily Weight Control Frosted Devil's Food Donuts
We keep a weight control journal to track the amount of calories we ingest each day. Daily, people are bombarded with TV ads about food products. You can walk in any community and find an endless number of restaurants to go to. Unwanted weight is easy to acquire. We are fortunate in this country to have an abundance of food available. This is both a blessing and a curse. This weight journal allows us to balance food abundance with weight control. We deny ourselves nothing to eat; we just attempt to control the amount.

Additional Information:
Entenmann's frosted devil's food donuts are a favorite of ours. We purchase them in 1 pound 3 ounce box that includes 8 donuts. This company has been in business since 1898. They use the following ingredients to make this donut: palm and palm kernel oil, sugar, enriched wheat flour, water, cocoa, high fructose corn syrup, nonfat milk, soybean oil, natural and artificial flavors, soy flour, egg yolks, glycerin, leavening, dextrose, pregelatinzed wheat starch, corn syrup, salt, cornstarch, soy lecithin, mono and diglyerides, calcium carbonate, potassium sorbate, cellulose gum, calicum sulfate, guar gum, tapicoa destrin, xanthan gum, karaya gum, beta carotene, agar, carob bean gum, sodium phosphate, caramel color. Please remember to read all product label. You may be allergic to one of the ingredients. We have made our own donuts at home; but as you can see, it is an involved process. We prefer to buy them, and it's easy to do when a company like Entenmanns provides excellent product.
One serving size is a 67 gram donut of 310 calories, 160 calories are from fat. Total fat is 18 grams, saturated fat is 12 grams with 0 trans fat. Cholesterol is 10 mg and sodium is 170 mg.
When we were on our last vacation, we met the sole distributor for this product in our community. He was very proud of his business, and told us when he delivered to the store where we shop. Entenmanns website is www.entenmanns.com
This day we stayed at a local resort in our area. As you can determine from the number of calories we ate, we enjoy ourselves when we are out. We don't deny ourselves any of the foods we like. We share meals in a restaurant if the servings are too large. This will be balanced by controlling our calorie intake when we are home. For this reason, we keep a weight control journal.
* We have determined that based on grocery buying habits one Calorie cost us .01347 cents. This is doubled for two people.
We have noticed that the cost of food has been consistently rising. The cost per item is an average of $4.00. If you count the number of items in your grocery basket and multiply by 4 you will be very close to the final bill you will pay.

DISCLAIMER:
This is a daily weight control system that we have used since 1999. This is not a diet system, but a weight control journal. We do take vitamins, but will not list them for they may not be appropriate for all individuals wishing to start their own weight control journal. To loose weight, the ideal calorie count is 850 calories per day for our weight and height as well as our activity level. This has been determined from previous years of experience. All calorie counts and weights are approximate.
It's important to drink enough water each day. We drink a minimum of eight, 8 ounce glasses of water per day to keep our body healthy. In addition, salt is not used in our cooking process, with the except of rice and pasta. This helps to keep our blood pressure down as well as reducing the retention of water in our body.
BEFORE STARTING A WEIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM, PLEASE TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR.
