English Teachers Can Go Home and Cry In the new world of internet the rules for spelling and grammar have changed. In English class if you put :) in your paper yoy would be gigged as a typo (Ok, typographical) error. English is a living language not dead. The internet is about sharing. When communicating with family and friends words and spellings different than used in the classroom or the business world are accepted. It's the speed, the quickness, the thought that is important. If the internet was a book report, no one would be on the internet. So, what I write on the internet is to share with my internet family and friends. The English teacher can go home and cry. This how I spell. This is the grammar I intend. This is my writing style. Paragraphs and line spacings in my internet world do not count. Happy Health and Happiness I was going to put up the photo that the screenwriter of "Cool Hand Luke" had me produce so that he could slam an editor of a well known (Ok, "Field and Stream") for her red lining of his stream of conscious style, but some may be offended with the hand and finger.
