We the People
We the People In a world were the experts are stupid, a world were experts are wrong, who do you trust. Do you trust your expert the Doctor? Do you trust the expert your congress person? Do you trust your experts your parents. Everyone is out of the box running helter skelter, confused, and ignorant. How did this happen? There was a time you would set at your grandfathers knee listing to all the wise things he knew. There was a time when you went to your granny to learn how to cook, female issues, love, and things you could not or would not think of saying to your mom or dad. At the time world got confused, the children where left to their own devices. Television or TV as we know it now was the babysitter, the mom, the dad, the teacher, the preacher, and the friend. You could talk to your friend the TV and it was happy to listen. If the taking head did not listen well, you had choices, switch to a different channel. Then came the computer age. Everything moved at the speed of light, well at least faster than the slide ruler. The need for information got faster and faster. What to do in a world of speed and when everyone is on speed. There was no base. No grounding. It was "do your thing" even if it killed you. We lost a lot of great souls at that time doing stupid things. What will the grandchildren do. No base. No grounding. Some will seek religion. Some will reach for the gun. Hopefully, some will reach to reestablish sanity. It is a "brave new world." They have no examples except bad examples. The grandchildren will have to blaze a new path. A new world. A world where "We the People" means something. Responsibility. Caring. Sharing. Most of all patience will be the key to the success of "We the People." It is time we take the "ME" turn it upside down and backwards so that is "WE." Where have all the wise grandparents gone?
